Goals and Objectives Goal 1: Teaching and Learning By the year 2004, teachers will implement a comprehensive plan for meeting student learning needs through use of technology. Objective 1: Technology Use Encourage learning that is relevant and authentic through the use of technology. Objective 2: Standard Align the use of technology with local, state, and national content standards and curricula to enhance learning and enrich teaching. Objective 3: Lifelong Learning Cultivate lifelong learning communities in which the tools of technology support learning. Objective 4: Equal Access Provide every learner with the technological tools to access and process information.
Goal 2: Education Preparation and Development By the year 2003, the campus will implement, and update requirements for educator preparation and professional development to meet state technology standards. Objective 1: Assessment Assess campus technology staff development needs Objective 2: Technology Staff Development Develop a comprehensive technology staff development plan.
By the year 2003, the district will implement district guidelines and procedures which will standardize technology access, services, and support. Objective 1: Latest Technology Design and maintain a state of the art network management system. Objective 2: Recruit/Retain Qualified Personnel Attract and retain qualified personnel by continuing to provide professional technology development and a competitive salary. Objective 3: Technology References Develop technology reference materials encompassing hardware, software, and print materials. Objective 4: Staffing Provide sufficient staffing to facilitate successful implementation of the Technology Plan. Objective 5: Implementation Develop and implement a plan for community involvement in technology.
